The names on the portraits pertain to historical figures around the time of the French & Indian War—although I don't think the portraits look anything like the named individuals.

Thank you John Chalmers for providing bibliographical data correcting the place of publication for __The Only Sure Guide to the English Tongue__. The book was published in Northampton, Ma.—not Northampton, Scotland.

And thank you all ye booksellers who made this blog post possible.Jerry Morrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12749823995193026579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7105362130482278496.post-12221599667077117882015-06-30T15:58:04.411-04:002015-06-30T15:58:04.411-04:00Dear Jerry,

I've added a couple books to my ever-growing wishlist thanks to your recent purchases. =)

So cool that you've been to Hay-on-Wye! It's been on my "Book Bucket List" for a while now. Looks like I'll have to add Archer City and Hobart to try and claim that biblio-triplicity title.

I also found it interesting that you picked up that Automobile Rate book from the National Workmens Compensation Bureau. I used to be an analyst for the National Council on Compensation Insurance here in Boca Raton and dealt with rules and rates on a regular basis.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your adventures. I always enjoy reading about them. =)

Oh and on a side note, I hope you decide to go ahead and write that blog post about Austin Dobson sometime in the future. I'm interested to see what he was all about...

Happy collecting!
BeckyBeckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12419820637905285521noreply@blogger.com
